What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

First thought was, "holy shit, they completely stole from the best movie this year, RAID REDEMPTION", second thought was, "still, this could be great".
Gosh, don't people around here read back? I already mentioned this...

But seriously, I mentioned this on the last page.
Yeah, you did. But you didn't give us a link. And I tried to find it yesterday and all I could find was a 10 second teaser trailer. So thank you Luke for the real deal!

That was freaking awesome! It looks like an old Schwarzenneger or Stallone type movie.

Granted it was a terrible adaptation of Judge Dredd, but you do realize Stallone was in the 1995 movie, right?

Contrariwise, I think it looks way too shiny and modern for a 2000AD adaptation. I almost unilaterally hate slow motion as a cinematic technique, so I'll probably skip it.

Yeah, of course. But we all know that Schneider was the real star of that movie.

You're very welcome, and thanks.

And you other guys stop poo pooing a movie you haven't seen yet. Dredd has a lot of potential, although I doubt it will out do RAID.

In other news, Jurassic Park 4 is coming, The Amazing Spider-Man may turn out to be a story borefest but full of eye orgasms, and I'm seeing Rises on the 19th. Na na na boo boo.

Has anyone commented on Snow White other than bootyjack?

I was gonna try and go on the earliest showing on the 20th. Not the midnight one, the one later in the morningish after that.

I'm gonna see whatever the first showing my theater has. I've been waiting four long years for it, so I'm not gonna make it any longer than it has to be.

Batman is broken in the first half hour.

Next half hour is Bane doing crazy shit and taking Gotham under siege while JGL dicks around and we are introduced to Catwoman.

Lots of shit blows up and Alfred has a heart to heart with Wayne. Morgan Freeman kicks the bucket, but finishes his bucket list by creating the bat plane thingy.

JGL becomes a very Nolan-esque Nightwing, but can't fight Bane without Batman, who rises from his humiliating defeat.

In a shocking climax Bane becomes more monster than man, breaks Nightwing and Catwoman, and Batnman realizes he has to do something he has never wanted to do, kill someone. Batman takes JGL's pistol and kills Bane.

Battered and bruised, Batman also takes his last breath as JGL takes the pistol from his hands, takes the cowl off of Batman and smiles at the camera. Cue credits.

^ Wouldn't that be shitty?

I wouldn't be surprised if half of my guesses are in the movie.
