Picked up Grand Theft Auto Double Pack for Xbox at Goodwill for ten bucks. A little pricey but GTA3 and Vice City are complete with the maps and everything in nice condition. Even got the nasty sharpie written price off of the cover

$10 for the only wrestling game you will ever need is a great deal. It requires some patience, but Fire Pro is one of those rare games that gives you back everything you put into it.

Wanted to share some game-related finds during my 2-week vacation in Wildwood, NJ..

Virtua Fighter Tiger Game - Free!
Image
A friend gave this to me.. Don't really know why - who wouldn't want to play a primitive 3D fighting game on a Tiger handheld..?

Game-related Candy thingys.. - $10 total
Image
Saw these at a Five Below and had to get them! Will probably end up going back for more game-related nonsense...

Pac-Man plush dolls - $0.33 ea!
Image
Image
Won these out of a claw machine on the boardwalk! 3 plays for a dollars, so I figured why not.. The first try I got Pac-Man, second try was the blue ghost! At this point, I won the only two different kinds of prizes in the machine, so I won a third ghost for a little girl who was looking on with her mother.. She didn't know what the hell it was, but she was happy to get a free prize..

Domo and Skeletal Domo plush dolls - $0.50 ea!
Image
Ok, not so game related, but my girl loves Domo, so back to the claw machines I went.. Another dollar on a $.50 machine and we walk away with two prizes for one buck! I guess I've got a knack for the claw...

My most recent acquisitions!

Darius Twin (SNES) - $4
Super R-Type (SNES) - $5
Super Game Boy (SNES) - $6
Baseball (GB) - $5

Used store credit too, so it cost me only a few bucks in the end. ;p

Nice little grab there! I recently got Baseball myself and it's so damn slow... Enjoy Darius Twin - It's a really fun shmup!

Ah well baseball in general can be a slow game (especially if both teams are really good, extra innings!), but I really love the sport so I had to get a retro game of it! It's a great time killer if you got lots of time to kill. :p

Got this lot recently as part of a huge bundle, sold some of it on but had no interest in the Game Gear items. :?
Estimated cost, about £10.
Image
I decided if I couldn't sell them I may as well add to them.

Found this lot on ebay described as not working, when it arrived one would only work with batteries and the other had a black screen. Cost £17 posted.
Image
Image
A bit of swapping of boards and casings and I ended up with a fully working one with an almost unscratched screen. 8)
Image

Found this lot on gumtree, very quiet sound which was fixed using the sound board out of the broken one above. Cost £5 collected. 8) 8)
Image
The power supply does work but I think I will keep it for emergecys only
Image

This lot was found on ebay described as untested. Cost £20 collected.
Image
The black XBOX is soft modded and has a sticking disc tray when no disc is in it. It also throws up a service error and has to be powered down and back up to work again.
The crystal one works fine.
Only 1 controller works properly.
Image
Most of the disc are heavily used but work.
Suprisingly the following games dont work or crash shortly after loading.
Image
Quite a high faliure rate.
