Nope. It came out right as SNK went belly up (for the second time? third time?) and it never got fixed. KoFXIII is getting patches (thankfully) but KoFXII was largely abandoned by the fans almost as soon as it came out.

google leads to a bunch of websites that say there was a 1.01 patch and a 1.02 patch that were both released Summer-Fall 2009 and both were released to address online gameplay.

^this guy reviews one of the patches, which had come out "yesterday" in Sept 2009. And he says that the online isn't as good as SF4 or BlazBlue, but it's definitely improved with this patch and no longer unplayable.

I have it for sure, yes. I believe Mark still has it also - we haven't played it in about 6 weeks though, so i'm not 100%.

Ah, I thought you guys were talking about the new one for whatever reason, should have remembered this is budget fighters though.

I might rear my head on the 19th for some CS action, and if I have AC 3 in time I'll probably join the fray for that too. The lack of Battle Fantasia saddens me though.

Are we gonna put CS II Extend on the list when it comes out in Feb? Gonna be a $40 budget release so figured I'd ask.

we wait until retail price is $30 to consider it budget. (I'm anticipaing Tekken Hybrid dropping in the next month or two...)
