what are "combat" carts. Like I plan on researching the next few days to see exactly whats what but the amount of games they have for the atari its hard to keep em all straight..and thats an amazing idea imma try that. Like I am very knowledgable on the systems that precede the atari but the atari itelf was before my time lol. the 2600 and what that is. I was born in 1988 and I started out with the nes then so forth. either way if there is 25 plus games that look okay cosmetically/mechanically i feel 30 bucks or even 40 would be a good price to throw at him you know. I know they gotta be atleast at the minimum 2 bucks a cart.

Combat was the original pack in game for the 2600, so there are millions of them, like SMB/Duck Hunt carts for the NES. The 2600 was sold from 1978 until 1994 I believe, so there are tons of the systems too though the later were the redesigned Jr model. Most people didn't keep boxes and things back then and just tossed the carts around and most are very common. A lot of 2600 games like Combat and the crappy Pac Man port are worth 25 cents if you're lucky. Even common desirable games like Pitfall, River Raid, and Warlords are only really worth a dollar or two unless they're complete and minty. Very few 2600 games are worth much except for a handful of truly rare games and the laughable "X rated" ones.

Found this at the local thrift store this morning:

Paid $8.00. I knew I'd seen this things on GameSniped before, but I'd really like to know more information about it. Were these sold in stores, like Toys R Us? Also from looking online the placement of Mario on mine is much higher than on other, which leads me to believe him and Nintendo logo were just stickers included in the package. So does anyone else have one of these? And can anyone ballpark what it might be worth? I don't intend on selling it any time soon, but I would just like to know.

There is one on eBay right now for the ridiculous starting price of $499.99. http://cgi.ebay.com/Rare-Nintendo-NES-M ... 9699074621

so I got my KMart giftcard in the mail after that Splatterhouse fiasco. Went back to the store and got the game for $15 after the giftcard. Not bad, :)

Also I found copies of Capcom Classics 1 & 2 for PSP along with the never-released in the US Puyo game for PSP... they look great, but not sure I'll keep em since I have all these games on other collections, etc.
