It's been a while since i played it so i cannot collaborate on your struggle
I am curious though, is there mods for the game as with minecraft or it's a plain survival mode with linear gameplay? When i first played i was on a demo first release, it was just a sandbox gameplay with 3-4 bosses nothing much back then

I'm playing a lot of old Amiga games. I showed my father the games he used to play as a young man so now we are playing them together:
Karate Kid, Robocop and many others

Played a whole bunch of Hearts of Iron 4's Kaiserreich mod over the weekend. It REALLY does a good job of balancing out the whole game and making it just generally more interesting to play every area on the map. There's just no way to know how a game will go between the various factions, and that's something the base game really lacks. The alt-history "what if Germany won WWI" adds a last element of spice that just makes it a joy to play. After 120 or so hours and nearly giving up on it near the beginning, I think I've finally really gotten a hang on how to play HOI4 :D

Got a bit sick of HOI4 yesterday though :P . So I finally started up La-Mulana 2, which has been AWESOME so far <3 . It's really a lot more of the "same," tbh, but it's all new maps, bosses, puzzles, and enemies, despite the weapons and items being fairly similar. It's really all I could've asked for in a La-Mulana sequel, and playing through on hard mode has been both super fun and at times very frustrating, but I'm still having a blast

It's really made me want to try and track down an old MSX and some games when I go to Japan. Try and play some of the inspirations for La-Mulana like Galius Maze or Castlevania :)

Right now I'm bouncing back and forth between Fort nite, and Sonic Forces, both on Xbox. Fortnite is a daily driver as I can't get enough of it, and I throw Sonic in every couple days.

Finally found a NES Classic so I've been trying to beat Castlevania and Ninja Gaiden (as tough as I remember them!). I'm also really enjoying playing StarTropics for the first time.

I've been laboring away at Pokemon Vega on my GBA Everdrive. Jesus Christ on a bicycle, that game is tough. Tons of grinding by necessity. I'm also putzing around in Star Trek Online with flake a fair bit now and then.

Well, just yesterday I finished Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Although I would like to unlock some more achievements. The next one that starts? Possibly, Sunset Overdrive. :)

Finished Space Quest IV earlier, so I started up Space Quest V. Still remember finding it for almost dirt cheap at a Kay-Bee Toys a few years after it had came out.

Dragon Quest VIII, after which I'll continue with either Etrian Odyssey III or Pokemon FireRed.

Wonder Boy III: The Dragon’s Trap (SMS)...this game is good. It has me rethinking my opinion that Phantasy Star is the best SMS game...
