Other people have to pay more, does not a good argument make.

But it's not a tax! OH WAIT IT TOTALLY IS.
I'm curious to find out how the public will react to this. I'm thinking most people will react negatively to a new tax, but you never know.

Well it wouldn't have made it through Congress, if it had been labeled as such and they knew that. That's why it was made out to be a mandate instead of a tax. I totally respect the courts decision on this, the opinion from Roberts makes sense to me. Looks like it will be up for repeal in the Senate as some point.

Now who wants to talk about the vote to call Holder in contempt of Congress?

Is it not already in the process of being appealed?

I believe Boehner has said the process will begin on the 9th, but I'm not sure how that all works.

Fun fact! It costs nearly 10 times as much money for a person without insurance to go to the emergency room for their primary care.

Fun fact #2: That padded bill is picked up by medicaid and / or medicare which is then passed on to the taxpayers.

So really you are already paying for these 'free loaders'! Hooray!

More fun facts: Key provisions in the affordable health care act are intended to force insurers to lower their costs through competition. Insurance markets and being able to buy plans from companies across state lines will break defacto monopolies. That's a good thing for consumers.

Not saying that the law is going to work but it is the first thing that has been done to address the incredible amount of money we taxpayers are ALREADY paying for other people's exorbitant healthcare. A little preventative care and actual competition in the insurance marketplace could go a long way.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
