I honestly wish we could get a console that could be more like PC on the gaming side, and not have all these adds and bullshit. I want to be able to matchmake for a game, and specify if I'm okay with player made maps and such. Free updates, and a good, level playing field.

I'd also like to see a fairly made cross platform play for consoles and PC, but that can't ever happen without somebody getting aggrivated. (Most likely the PC gamers.)

No. I personally can't stand those controls,(reasons other than preferance included) and as long as everyone esle uses a controller, its all fair and fine. I've been trying to play TF2 with a controller lately, and I do okay, as long as I avoid Sniper, Spy, and such. Sticking to support and pyro.

But really, I still want console games to get the updates like PC versions. The main reason I'm interested in PC gaming is for updates not on consoles (L4D, TF2, etc.) and strategy games, which I have yet o try.

UT III for PS3 has some mouse and KB support. It isn't complete though, you still have to use your controller in menus though. Thankfully it does support custom mods as well, they have to be prepared for PS3 use. I think most FPS do not though.

No no no, I wrote that incorrectly. What I meant was that, other than some exceptions, console games don't use mouse and keyboard, and I don't think it should be needed.

I understand it can't happen though. Like I say, in my case, its somewhat unfair when it comes to PC games. Its aggrivating that I can't compete.

It was 101 according to my car when I ran an errand at 5 today. Forecast is for it to be over 100 most of the week here too.

Well that is just plain silly.

Holy Toledo. Just browsed thru my console collection, and I have very few fps'. CODMW2, Bioshock &2, L4Dead, and only a few others. But my PC collection is dominated by fps games.

I really did lose interest in the genre because lack of mouse and kb support.
