Wigglytuff is no slouch in a gym, CPs on them are low but HP is high.
First of the Gen 2 eggs hatched for me today, and I end up getting Gen 1 stuff. I still have 7 5km Gen 2 eggs going. 6 gyms for the weekend, hopefully. I lost the downtown gym but my Vaporeon at the top won a battle in defense, he's in a better gym now that shouldn't be taken down.

Good question I skimmed over that late last night tired, i hadn't even noticed he voiced it like he knew if it was a Gen2 egg or not.
Are we assuming if you had the egg already in storage the contents are pre-determined? I guess once my 10K egg pops if I get a Gen2 one that may help prove it a bit as I got that after.
To clarify, as AJ pointed out, I did in fact get all the old eggs done, and in the past few days I got brand new ones after the Gen 2 update rolled out, so any of those are eligible to be from Gen 2. It's just too bad the first 2 2km eggs were just Gen 1 Pokémon. I still have 7 new 5km eggs that have a chance to be those that are appearing from Gen 2 that should be ready today. We're still going to be getting the Gen 1's, but any of them now can also be Gen 2.
As far as determining what you get from them, that is decided at the Pokéstop where you get them. That is, when you receive it, the Pokémon has been determined, all you have to do is walk the required distance.

Huh since my last level up got an incubator I put the 10k on it, used the other for a 5 and I got a lousy venonat today. Total kick in the teeth egg if there ever was one aside from worms and birds.
Did bump into an amazing psyduck recently, forgot about it, so whenever I can get the candy up golduck time.
Also found my (and spotted my) second only omanyte today. Seems to have a fairly favorable rating as the first one was awful shortly after the game came out so I erased it. This one I'll bother keeping.
