What are "tank controls"? From what I can tell they're simply synonymous with "shitty controls".

Up moves your character forward, down moves them back, left and right makes them rotate in place.

aka, driving like an older tank. Where you have two sticks to accelerate and break the individual tracks. To turn you pull back on one stick, causing it to brake, and spin in place. Id enjoy tank control games if they gave me actual tank controls.

Super Mario 3d Land is the most enjoyable Mario game of the entire history of the series *ducks to avoid bottles being thrown*
