Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Been 90-100 degrees consistently here too. I mean, I'll take it over the cold, but it's pretty intense. I feel bad for my dog more than me though.

Dang.

It was only 93 here and overcast all day....and then it rained.

Thank god. All that rain dancing last week finally paid off. Now maybe all the plants wont croak.

Children of Mana got panned for being derivative. Heroes of Mana got panned for being absolutely unplayable. Your mileage may vary but I think you'll end up agreeing with the critics on this one.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

At one point around 3pm our Ford said it was 111 degrees.

Believe me, I enjoyed the AC when I was able, but unfortunately I was stuck out for most of the day.

It sure felt like 111 though. Jeez.

I went to 4 locations today and they were dry.
Keep checking. I'm not all that big into PC gaming, but when I do find something I like (Phantasmagoria, Europa Universalis III, Medieval/Rome Total War Gold Edition) they're almost always complete, in excellent condition and cheap as hell.
I second this. You won't find something every time, but thrift stores are unrivaled for getting old PC games CIB on the cheap in my experience.

I am in awe from the videogame look what I found thread.

but a cloud of darkness has invaded my shiny thoughts.

What if the owner of the donated stuff wants it back?

please hear out my scenario:

MOM: "Boy did my son in College leave too much stuff here"

DAD: "He's in school for the next few years. I'm sure whatever he left behind he doesnt need it."

MOM: "Lets donate it to that chartiy thrift store. Look at all these games! I'm sure he's outgrown them."

DAD: "What? He still has them!? Our son needs to learn to let go, he's a grown man now. Pack up those things and lets call so they can pick this stuff up."

~~~~
what's gonna happen when he comes back home to visit, and finds his prize collection gone?
Lets hope hes not a racketboy member, or has a friend here.
hey everyone.
Right now I just saw on mexican cable a (spanish dubbed) episode of auction hunters.
In this episode they find Random things and an old MS. PACMAN arcade machine.
They take it to a vintage gaming seller. And he wasn't interested. They said they were gonna restore it and they take it to a person that "helped them restore" the MS. PACMAN machine.
but heres the strange part......... The restorer looks suspicously like NATHAN BARNATT :shock:
heres the episode. Which sadly I cannot view in my country. Can you guys take a peek (somewhere toward the end) . Maybe I'm talkin BS. But the restorer guy had a stare, a beanie on top of his head and had some facial stubble. And there is a videogame involved.
http://www.spike.com/full-episodes/26z3 ... n-2-ep-205
Now that I look online, there are accusations of this show being a fake/fraud. And nathan is a paid actor, so anything's possible.
TV is shady business. :?
