You really should have a man to man with your brother if you think it would help. If a family member ever called me a "burden" I would be devastated and motivated at the same time.

Good luck.
I've tried; doesn't help.

Any attempt to offer criticism, be it helpful or not, is viewed as an affront to his character, and instantly met with fierce resistance. He is just too damn stubborn; plus the fact that he acts as if everyone owes him something. It's the way he's always been.

I'd like to say after 20 years that something would click; but no such luck.

Still über sad: I'll be crying myself to sleep because I'll never get to have Chewie sleep with me again.
Going to snuggle up to his bandana as my teddy bear from now on.

He has character?
Smile: Biden's performance in the debate tonight.
Is that a "Biden knocked it out of the park" smile, or a "Oh Biden, will you ever catch the red dot?" smile?

Wait the debate was last night? Damn.
Horrible crying frown- I found Chewies favorite toy in my bed last night and cried for most of the night and I am feeling like I have a stomach bug.

Smile: Really looking forward to the weekend. Friends over tonight for the usual shenanigans, have great tickets to the ECU Pirates game on Saturday, and the weather forecast for Sunday is perfect for a game of touch football (the girls won't play tackle).

Met a butcher at the local farmer's market who also raises bison. Should have some bison ribs on the grill Saturday after the game. I'm kind of hoping they will be too big for my grill and that the ribs resemble something Fred Flintstone would eat.

Frown: I'm doing some consulting work for a music studio in LA, and so far it has been all headache. They believe there is a magical formula to having a video go viral. You can't just tag your youtube video with "Hulk Hogan sex tape Gangam Style Nicki Minaj Mariah Carey fight" and expect a million hits a night.

Have you tried using "Racketman" in yr tag? Just sayin'.

Smile: Zero commitments this weekend - nothing. No practice, no play-dates, no scouts, no house projects, no car repairs, nothing outdoors. Just...nothing - and it feels very very good.

I think we will loosely plan to play some Carcassone and Tikal if when it's chilly (been 40's during day, high 20's at night past week or so) and maybe take a walk through the woods during the afternoon when it's crisp, but not cold. Even that is loosely planned. This is a rare occurrence to have zilch to do. We even have plenty of gas, milk, eggs and bread. All is well.

So very jealous. Im moving to temporary living conditions next weekend, so this weekend is packing and a wedding shower.

Smile - Should get a response from the bank today about the house
Ticked - Huge report due at work next week and Ive completed two of the sixty slides I have to do, but Ive been covering for everyone else so thats gotta count for something...
