Crabmaster2000 wrote:Fantastic news, after half a dozen more attempt I was able to beat Seifer. I'd love to say it was my ingenius combination of GFs, items and buffs, but realistically it was because he didnt use his Bloodfest move even once and normally I would get hit with 2 in a row and I couldnt recover from both. I was immediately treated with a save and asked to swap to the 4th and final disc. Unfortunately it took me so long to beat him that I didnt have time to move forward anymore.

Hopefully I wont get so stuck again and can finish this up in the very near future!

I had a few last night. Somehow I must have known it was your night. ;)

Just gave MUSHA a go and died on the level 2 boss. Seems like it should be good fun. I saw that you can continue afterwards as many times as you'd like, though hopefully it won't come to that.

Anyone have any advice as far as the weapon of choice?

Lol, I've actually noticed that I am WAY more likely to beat games that are NOT on my list. It's kind of how like you'll procrastinate on something that you would normally like to do if only because you've been TOLD to do it.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Bringing that back up, I can proudly say I beat FFIV again on the PSP and I'm loving the heck out of the FFII PSP remake, so I'm sure I'll finish that too. Hey, there's my "one or two" JRPG's for the summer!

I actually plan to get back to FFIV The After Years too when I finish FFII (needed a break from FFIV), and then finally... I am utterly determined to conquer FFV once and for all, I'm stoked to play it. Maybe not the best idea to marathon old FF's back to back, but so far it's turning out pretty well. FFII is quirky and challenging enough that it's really fresh after FFIV, and FFV I've played twice before so I know what to expect with the job system and all. I noticed in my old games though I didn't have the battle speed set to max, which I think nowadays helps make these games more fun for me, just to make stuff go by quicker and whatnot. I'm sure that'll help me enjoy FFV more this time.
