Still seems gimmicky to me.

It's the next evolution of the tag mode of various DS games. Now it's integrated into the main OS which makes it much easier to use.

Gimmick just sounds so nasty, like 3DS and their 3d tech as being gimmicky.

I never thought of it as gimmicks, but more of getting out of the box. The wii aka gimmicky, but look how well it sold and not to mention the fun we got out of it.

Same as the 3d, they said its all gimmicky, but look how well games are in 3d on the 3ds.

My retro gaming store has days where we can bring ours in in SP mode so that we can get 10% discounts.

Gimmick is the hot word now. It is like people are scared of everything...
