I was joking about it being rare at least :)
Is E.T. rare? I think I paid $0.50 for my copy at my local shop.
It's one of the top 10 most common 2600 games.

Is that a 3DS XL in your pocket, or are you just glad to see me? ~ZeroAX

Unless you took a belt sander to it, blu rays shouldn't really need it. They have an extra coating on them. I've seen people scrape something across a disc making a scuff, then wipe with a soft cloth and it's gone.

Found one of these in my closet. My dad picked it up for me at a yard sale when I was 11 or 12 for the grand price of $10. It came with five or six games and the hard plastic case. The left clasp on the case seems to be missing. It doesn't look broken, simply missing.

I'll buy it from you. Do you have a system card?

Lol, I don't even know if it works anymore, hasn't been hooked up in about 10 years. The CD System Card is with it.

Who the heck is scratching Blu-rays? They are way more damage resistant then DVDs and CDs.

eBay also reduced the search history range when selecting completed auctions. This can really mess with both the buyer and seller when evaluating prices. I believe this ultimately drives up prices since a majority of the search results are item listings with prices too inflated, did not sell, and set on auto-relist.

Freaking hate eBay / Paypal and their 15% cut although sometimes I feel it is the only way to get enough exposure for the items you want to sell....end rant....

That's what I figured.

Hopefully it doesn't, so you can sell it to me for cheap. :D I wouldn't mind the CD-ROM add-on.
I'm guessing it's just a regular system card, not a Super System card.

As for this thread, I don't think I've posted in it before. I don't have much rare stuff at the moment. In fact, I just read through it for the first time (the first 20 or so pages at least, and the last few). I am blown away by what some people think of as "rare."

Chrono Trigger is not rare.
Earthbound is not rare.
Zelda NES gold carts are not rare.
Ocarina of Time is not rare.
Final Fantasy VII, even the original black label, is not rare.
Dracula X: Rondo of Blood on the PC Engine is not rare.

These are collectable games, definitely, and some even command a high price, but these are not rare at all. There have been a few cool items, though.

I don't really have much rare at all. My original edition of Pier Solar would be rare, as it is one of 800 copies. I suppose my Sapphire (PC Engine Arcade) boot is at least uncommon. Despite what some here think, the average person cannot just go buy one online. You pretty much need to know someone to ask, other than a couple bootleggers who make up fake jewelcases and sell them online. My front loading (model 1) Neo Geo CD console is one of 50,000. I guess that makes it uncommon. I have Ikaruga on the Gamecube, but I don't think that is rare at all. I'm not sure of the numbers, but I imagine it is fairly easy to find.
