The Avengers
On 2nd viewing, Cap. America's costume doesn't look THAT bad although it is lame compared to his costume in The First Avenger

Felt this way when I saw the posters/trailer/promo shots/etc.OldSchool_Boy wrote:The Avengers

When I actually saw the movie I just didn't give a fuck. I was enjoying myself way too much to nitpick things like that.

Everyone not cgi'd to death looks silly. Loki looks like a high school chemistry teacher, and I couldn't have cared less.
A buddy sent me every single MST3K episode, and I'm starting fro the beginning/pilot. Joel had some serious hair back in the day/Tuesday.

I wish they'd do a complete series boxset on Blu-Ray. Even if it cost $100, it'd be a lot cheaper than the way they're doing it right now.Luke wrote:A buddy sent me every single MST3K episode, and I'm starting fro the beginning/pilot. Joel had some serious hair back in the day/Tuesday.

I'd totally pay $100 for that. Hell, at this rate I'd consider $200.BoringSupreez wrote:I wish they'd do a complete series boxset on Blu-Ray. I have a VHS copy of MST3K: Manos Hands of Fate. I'd be happy to make a donation of it if someone wants to pay the shipping cost. I'm not a MST3K fan, I only ended up with it because I worked at Blockbuster and they ordered me to destroy it (as in break it in half) and I hate seeing anything of any cultural worth just destroyed.

Which reminds me, I still haven't sent the Clerks Animated DVDs on to someone else yet.Luke wrote:Well, if you guys want to make the entire MST3K collection (dvd) our version of traveling pants, I'd be happy to share.Michi wrote:I'd totally pay $100 for that. My interest in the superhero movies has dropped a lot over the years, but yeah I gotta say I really enjoyed The Avengers. Good times. Everyone talked up the Hulk, but I still liked Iron Man the most probably, haha.

They talked up the Hulk because for the first time, he was in a movie and wasn't lame. Iron Man was definitely the best. Captain America was derp, and Thor did arrogant demigod stuff with a hammer.Xeogred wrote:My interest in the superhero movies has dropped a lot over the years, but yeah I gotta say I really enjoyed The Avengers. All the girls I know who saw The Avengers spent their time afterwards talking about how cute Captain America is, or how sexy Thor's accent is. Arrrgh, did you people even notice the action or storyline?!
