Nice! That's one of the best exclusives for the consoles. Unless you're not into Mario games. It's definitely a blast to play multiplayer, since you can be cooperative or combative.

We've been enjoying it as well. Multiplayer sometimes needs a bigger screen to see well when the camera zooms out. We play on the smaller LCD in our living room and we struggle a bit at times.

Yeah, I've only played 3-player on a 40" HDTV myself. I've wondered what it would be like to play 4-player on a really massive size screen!

I do like Mario games, though sidescrollers more. I've played 3D Land in the past and thought it was "pretty good." Though, we're not really fans of multiplayer Mario. I think that NSMB Wii was more enjoyable without the chaos of co-op.

It's an incredible game solo too though. Honestly I liked it a lot more than Odyssey. Not to mention the post end game content is THREE entire new worlds and the difficulty really ramps up.

Talking about 3D World, I hear 3D Land was more like a prototype in comparison.

Yeah I wouldn’t play it all the time on multiplayer, but it’s cool that it’s offered. It makes for an interesting family session with little kids.

heads up if anyone's looking, GS has refurb WiiU's (32GB black, and Zelda branded ones) on sale for $99 right now. That's how I got mine right after Christmas and it was in pristine condition.

As I sidenote, my New 2DS XL was also a GS refurb and it looks brand new.

Axiom Verge is getting a physical Wii U release from LRG. The ordering window opens tomorrow.

I wonder if these one-offs drive the complete library collectors crazy. I recall a LRG game for PS3 fairly recently as well...

EDIT: Just looked at the Limited Run topic and it appears that there was some chatter over there in October about it.

I was sitting on the page, thinking if I should pull the trigger. But in the end... I don't even like that game. So I'd be buying it as a collectible, and that's just not really me. :\
