Yeah, Swans is headlining and apparently they're releasing a double album on August 28. I have no idea if they're playing in Maine; my local theater sent me an email.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Wait..... what.... WHAT?!?!?! Is that for real?sabrage wrote: Better in than out.... Swans as in Gira and Jarboe? Or is this some fake pretender?sabrage wrote:Does anyone want to go to Swans with Morbid Angel and Xiu Xiu in September? Because.... That sounds sick.
I'm sure there's an actual thread for that somewhere, likely in the Nintendo section. Or I'm sure there's discussion in one of the E3 threads about it. This random thread is primarily for non game related random things.retrozombieslayer wrote:So... "cough" "cough"... I just thought I should slip this in... WII U!!!!!!!

Do airplanes still carry barf bags? I seriously don't remember seeing any the last few times I have flown. Skymall magazines on the other hand were everywhere, usually at least a year old.
I'll pass on the $250 Harry Potter replica wand, Skymall. That $100 Batman Begins batarang money clip however is pretty badass.

Yes on the barf bags, used one coming into New Joy-zee from Ireland. They had to circle the airport for about 30 minutes in heavy turbulence and ... my body said no thank you.Luke wrote:Do airplanes still carry barf bags? Congrats man. May not be your dream job, but work your tail off and it will do great things for your future.
Get used to people asking "working hard, or hardly working?" and use all restraint possible to not smack the snot of them.

Imagining is what I'll be doing. Saving as much as possible to get myself a vehicle.AppleQueso wrote: Hey, nice.

That's a real good rate of pay for a first job. I hope it works out well for you.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:Just got my job details. Full time, 10 hour days but 3 day weekend and starting $10 an hour.

Saving might be harder than it sounds once you're getting some serious dough. I've had to set an allowance for myself, because it's such a different experience being able to buy pretty much any game I want any time I want.
