sadly the nearest Microcenter is ZenErik's which is over an hour away. Again... lazy.

not...really? Thing is this, knowing my card is somewhat long in the tooth, I generally leave most games on default settings. New games anyway. Only if I'm really into a game will I bother tweaking. Borderlands 2 looks great, though I get some screen-tearing I wish I didn't for instance. I guess I like the idea of just not having to think about it. Can just play things on max w/o worry. Plus, like I said, I'm planning to get a Shield, and as my current GPU isn't Nvidia, I can't stream to it w/o an Nvidia card.

Ah, then yeah those are good reasons. I just would hate to se you upgrade and not get any noticeable benefit.

And don't give me the that's dishonest crap. Next you're going to tell me that using multiple email addresses to $10 from red bull is dishonest too? Or using multiple email addresses to get multiple 30 day trials of newegg premier so I can return things free is dishonest too?

That's a load of horseshit sir. Just because you're trying to throw in a "I'm not a racist but..." Type disclaimer doesn't make it ok. If they don't notice and do something about the used code then someone else down the road could be screwed since it would be used at that point. But hey, everyone for themselves, as long as it isn't me, fuck the next guy, amirite? One could also be out shipping and 15% restocking fees which would negate the 'freebie' anyway.

What the hell are you on about? The codes are separate from the cards. Newegg premier negates all shipping and restocking fees. There is no "screwing the other guy over" at all.

You feel you need to be honest about everything in life? Ok cool I don't feel that way. I'm not going to talk down to you about it. Get over it dude. I don't need a lecture about it either.

Just sucks to be 'that guy' that abuses the system and ruins it for others. You know those costs are passed on to the more honest consumers right?

I don't pretend to be perfect, but I try to be honest and don't intentionally deceive people.

I'm not going to talk down to you about it.

You would even think about talking down to me for being honest? That's a pretty fucked up and indefensible position.

Get over it dude. I don't need a lecture about it either.

I'm a mod and I help make sure the forums are a good place for people. If you're going to lie and screw over big businesses (they deserve it for being big and making money amirite?), who is to say you wouldn't screw over someone trading here? Apparently you do need a lecture on it.

 I'd prefer to stop thread crapping about this but how is what I'm suggesting any different from that free m&m thread?

Several of us didn't like that one either...
