No doubt about that. I've found myself just sitting there listening to the music on more than one occasion.

Oh yeah, definitely. For anyone on this board who hasn't played the game yet, listen to these two tracks:

No problem

I think some of you masochists might like to know there is an Insanity mode that unlocks after you beat the game. And yes, it's pretty scary. I just fought the first boss who was tracking my movements and literally staying RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE no matter where I moved onscreen. Mind you, I have maxed out speed. And of course, every enemy seems to have higher stats

I'm noticing a lot more elemental effects on some weapons, though I think it's related to your magic stat too.

Oh, and Doctor Fugue, I noticed a trick with air combos. If you jump, hit an enemy with Y to smash them to the ground, then hit X, then Y, they'll be knocked up higher into the air, then you can mash X and quite literally air combo them from one side of the screen to the other. Really nice when you weapon's elemental effect kicks in while you're doing this by the way. This does take some proper timing though, but I'm having more success with this than trying to launch them from the ground and air combo them that way

Here you go Racketboy. You know I'm starting to think the game's soundtrack alone is worth fifteen bucks

Yes! I was hoping you'd put that one up! That 'Winterbliss' track is awesome! My favorite. Very moody, creepy...

Thanks, but like I said, it is only launching from the ground that I have a problem with. It requires such incredible timing that makes it somewhat useless.

I've played with a couple racketboys. Pretty consistent 90% of the time, with two players. I've had disconnects back to the main menu after too long at the map...timing out it seems. Also, three or four players hasn't been as smooth. From what I've read, supposedly The Behemoth is aware of and working on the issues.

Just bought it. I'm waiting for my mates to come over before I actually get into it.

So I thought I'd try a different type of character. Picked the barbarian, maxed out his strength and put all my other points in defense. I grabbed a +7 defense weapon to fully max out defense without actually spending the points. Some of those weapons actually ARE useful. So now I'm running out meleeing the crap out of everything and air comboing things to death, and enemies can barely hurt me. It's like a completely different experience from my hit and run magic/arrow characters.

This is when the sandwiche items really get fun to use. In "beefy" mode, my barbarian is practically invincible, and the game lets you carry NINE sandwiches at a time. It seems almost unfair. It's just HILARIOUS watching my character hulk up and start pummeling everything to death! And those big, huge enemies. You can grapple with them in "beefy" mode, which just ROCKS!

Oh, and I messed around with the red knight too. Wow!! his lightning attack is fantastically cool and EXTREMELY powerful. It's actually is worth trying out different characters

This game justs gets better and better. If The Behemoth had a bigger budget, god knows what this game could have been like
