It's great! I am addicted, so much so, that my hands have started to cramp up a bit after using the pro controller so much. Perhaps I need to invest in an arcade stick or leverless.
It's not the best looking version around obviously, but it's smooth 60fps, has cross play and plays surprisingly well with the joycons too if you want to play handheld.
The World Tour mode is also good if you like single player content.

Some cool games this month. Wendy and Mario Baseball came at a discount from a discord group. The latter is the last big expensive Gamecube game that I had on my list to get - just a few thankfully cheaper loose ends to finish up my major wants for the console now. On the topic of finishing sets, bit Generations Coloris was the last of the 7 games in the bit Generations series I needed, so very happy to finally get a copy.
Pokopia was my one new game purchase of the month. I've been resistant to buying Game Key cards but I'm starting to relent. With how many day one patches, mandatory downloads and DLC there is in modern games I don't really see a huge difference.
Other than that, I'm trying to work on my Amiibo collection. My goal for the year was to finish up the Mario set and pick up any new Amiibos announced. I wasn't expecting them to suddenly announce about 20 new ones all of a sudden. Costing me a fortune

I bought an Evercade and a bunch of games. It wasn't a system I thought I would ever bother with, but I am fairly glad I did. There's a great array of old arcade games, console ports and old Amiga and other retro home computer games.

Also, I recently snagged Doom: The Dark Ages and Silent Hill f, both for PS5. But God knows I'd double dip on both if/when they get ported to Switch 2.
Oh, and I scored an Asian release (Singaporean?) of Super Robot Wars Y for the original Switch on PlayAsia for roughly $30, though the shipping sprung the total up to just under $40. Considering that it goes for $60, that's a bargain.

The Nexus looks nice and I might upgrade to it when it's released. The only thing I am not sure about is how comfortable TATE mode will be with the console being larger and the two buttons being replaced by a stick. I think the sticks will be needed for Banjo Kazooie and other 3D games they might bring to the console though. I can't imagine Banjo playing well with a d-pad. The updated screen looks so much better as well.

The Switch 1 remaster of the first Croc game is 15 bucks marked down from 30 until the end of the month.

Yesterday, my imported copy of Super Robot Wars Y for the original Switch arrived from PlayAsia. I know that it's available on the eShop, but I wanted to own it digitally. As a fan of giant robots, anime and strategy RPGs, it's safe to say that this franchise is one I tend to enjoy.
Also snagged four eShop games that were on sale:
* Dokimon Quest, a Pokemon-style game with a GBC aesthetic made with Yanako RPGs' own MonMae, a GameMaker-based creation tool that allow for the development of Gen 1/2 Pokemon-inspired games.
* Prison City, a bitchin' NES-style action-platformer
* Infernax, a retro-style Metroidvania with grisly gory sweetness
* Vengeful Guardian: Moonrider, another awesome piece of retro-style throwback goodness from Joymasher, of Oniken, Odallus and Blazing Chrome fame
I know these games probably need no introduction on these forums, but it's a courtesy for that one person who doesn't.
