Doom Classic Complete (PSN, pc) vs Doom 3 BFG (physical plus has Doom 3).

I see that Mega Man comps have been mentioned at least once. I figure the main question for those would be which specific compilation to add to the list.
And I'm on my phone and on the toilet so haven't checked, but is there any possibility of this becoming an article?

Re: RB Community List: 30 Best Retro Gaming Compilations
This reminds me seeing how that GBC-EU Konami 4 Volume set got overlooked.
How about an even more obscure but shouldn't be DS only release from them?
Konami Classics Series: Arcade Hits
Games from 1981 - 1987
Scramble
Tutanhkam
Pooyan
Time Pilot
Track & Field
Roc N Rope
Super Basketball
Circus Charlie
Road Fighter
Twin Bee
Yie Ar Kung Fu
Shao-Lin's Road
Gradius
Rush'n Attack
Contra
If I remember correctly they're all the arcade rom sets emulated on the NDS with a fairly decent menu system for it with dip switch play and so on. I had it whenever it came out but not for a very long time. I usually forget it exists but I'd buy it again if I saw it.

I'm going to add the *best* of those GBC Konami volumes. You guys need to nominate one. EU only doesn't disqualify anything; this is a diverse and fair pool.

Re: RB Community List: 30 Best Retro Gaming Compilations
The best one is undoubtedly Volume 4. The best Castlevania on GB, a fantastic shmup, Yie Ar Kung Fu (the weak link...), and a game that was never previously localised. It has Nemesis 2, Castlevania 2: Belmonts Revenge, Yie Ar Kung Fu, and Antarctic Adventure.
If there's space for more though, then I also highly recommend Volume 2 or 3. Maybe just put the rest as honourable mentions if necessary. Either way, 4 is the big one.
(P.S. Using the European numbering system for all of these).

Re: RB Community List: 30 Best Retro Gaming Compilations
Two corrections to OP:
1) Taito Legends 2 is also available on PC, I have it and I went through StarForce to play it (but honestly I think it killed the optical drive on my old laptop)
2) Game & Watch Gallery Advance on GBA is called Game & Watch Gallery 4 in the US.
I know AJ was using European naming conventions for his nominations but maybe a "/4" after Advance might make it easier for us American folks.

My bad didn't realize there was the psn set and also for not leaving details with my post.retrosportsgamer wrote:Doom Classic Complete (PSN, pc) vs Doom 3 BFG (physical plus has Doom 3).

Skimming thru others post, wanted to comment that I think the PS2 version of Mega Man Ann has Mega Man Racing but is missing an entry not 100% sure since it's been awhile. Also Sega Ages has US release on Saturn from Working Designs but most likely not definitive. What else..? How about Rez HD on X360.

Thanks for clearing that up!
