yooo I missed that you finally got to this one. You know I have a total soft spot for Renegade. I played the heck out of that (NES) game as a kid. And I love the Kunio-kun series, as well as the weird overlap w/ Double Dragon.
I played the DOS version a year or two ago and it seemed like a real mess. I've been wanting to investigate some of the various computer ports...

Thanks! Yeah, been busy with my move... and no internet set up yet, ugh! I usually don't bother with the old home PC ports, mainly because I don't want to bother with hunting down those ROMs and setting up the emulators, and also because, by most reports, 99% of the ports are pretty shoddy.

well if you ever get interested in Amiga stuff (or DOS), do let me know. Plenty easy to set up and glad to walk you through whatever questions you have. Lots of cool stuff to investigate there.
