Screw this game so hard  . Even the 100cc flower cup is kicking my ass. The whole game just feels merciless. One screw up and you are done for and it's easy to screw up since you slide all over the place like your driving on a skating rink. The quasi 3d is also killer on a few maps such as the Snow stages which have blocks that very nearly match the color of the ground and aren't visible till you are right on top of them.

Controls also felt kind of loose but that may have been my controller or Retron 5 had a hard time getting my power ups to launch when I wanted them to.
Super Mario Kart games are notorious for having "rubber band" opponents. If you start to build up a lead, your opponents will magically become faster and catch up with you to make sure you are properly challenged. You can never truly over-match your CPU competition.

Going to put aside Xcom Enemy Within it's not that it's a bad game, but it's just not what I was expecting. I kind of thought it was a continuance of the Xcom Enemy Unknown story line but it's the same campaign with the the extra missions and contents piled on top and I've really kind of lost interest after 10 hours. Really wish there was a way to just play the new content without going through the whole enemy unknown campaign again.

I really need to stop continuing to play games long after they stop being enjoyable >.< Really bad habit of mine... But here are a few that I probably should of quit a while ago.

Inazuma Eleven (3DS DL)
I really wanted to like this game as I liked the characters, kind of liked where the plot was going, and it looked and sounded nice... but the combat is just impossible for me to get a hang of. I've put in 3 or 4 hours into it, and I can hardly win any of the random battles which are soccer matches. Either you need to steal the ball from the team (which I rarely win) or score a goal before they do (which I can't win any of). It's really frustrating since you lose prestige and friendship points which you need to get more party members and get their skills up. Even if the time runs out and neither of you score, it's considered that you lost :l So yeah, really disappointing.

Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town (GBA)
I quit playing this a while back and I couldn't really remember why... but now I do. It's fun at first, to tend to your crops, talk to people, and go to the mines occasionally but it got really boring quite fast. There really isn't a lot to do. Plus in order to really get anywhere, you need to befriend the Harvest Sprites by giving them stuff and playing there boring mini-games. Also, mining is kind of lame (which tends to be my favourite thing in Harvest Moon games). I really wanted to like this, but since I wasn't looking forward to playing it again, I thought it would be better to just stop.

Phoenix Wright: Justice for All (DS)
I actually didn't put a lot of time into this (just beat the first case), but I'm already seeing that I really wouldn't be enjoying playing any more of this. With the original Phoenix Wright, I couldn't figure out some of the solutions and NEEDED a guide to proceed, but that didn't happen much until later in the game. This one, however, this happened in the first case. So while I'll love the dialogue, I don't really feel like I would be playing it if I was just looking things up every minute or so. (also it's annoying how there's no text speed options ._.)

Yeah this one does not live up to its predecessor, not by a mile. I actually beat this game and for the most part, I did not enjoy it. I did enjoy the first case, which ended up being the best case. But you made the right decision bailing out before you had to suffer the indignities of the third case, the circus caper one. Although reading you ranting about how retarded it is would have been nice.

^Well, now I'm really glad I quit early  It was a bit difficult for me to decide whether or not to drop it, since nearly all of the Phoenix Wright games are rated about the same and I don't see a lot of comments about one or two being harder than others. So I'm glad it seems I made the right decision.

-Massive Chalice

It's okay. It was free as part of my Live account. The gimmick is you set up dynasties with your characters, have them sex it up and then use their kids in the ongoing turn-based struggle against the big bad. Problem is, it's way too easy to breed an army of asthmatic hicks who are all in the same useless class. I can see what Doublefine were aiming for but it doesn't quite work.

-Lightning Returns

Despite FFXIII being probably my least favourite game of all time, I quite enjoyed the demo for Lightning Returns. I said if I saw the game cheap I'd pick it up and so I did. And then I promptly put it back down again after spending 3 hours wandering around doing feck all and listening to some truly atrocious dialogue.

-Max and the curse of brotherhood

Charming but not very engaging puzzle-platformer. It's the sort of thing that should be right up my alley but I really couldn't get into it.

Well, the game I couldn't beat might be:

1/ Sonic the Hedgehog 2
2/ Ninja Gaiden
3/ the Prince of Persia 2008 epilogue
4/ No More Heroes 2
Minecraft Unlocked

Wild Arms (PSN)
I couldn't find information about it anywhere, but I think I softlocked the game ._. I'm supposed to be able to just go into Volcannon Trap after talking to Calamity Jane, but I can't. Nothing I do seems to make it want to open so... yeah. I'm not completely giving up on the game but I really don't want to restart it right now. I probably won't get back to it this year, but I will give it another chance... later.
