That makes me sad. I'm not clear on the facts, but it is all to save a few bucks on mining, right?

It has to be rough on the miners who are tasked with destroying their homeland.

I've been on a desert road trip through Utah and Arizona for the past week. Many more surreal pictures of rock and sand to follow.

I shot this photo of the New River from the lookout at Grand View State Park near Beckley, WV.

The New River is one of few rivers that flows North. The lines carved into the banks are railroad tracks.

I told you guys I recognized that place and was going there. The weather is different, and quite a bit later in the day, but I got pretty close to the exact same spot that picture was taken and took my own. :wink:
