Just saw this - it's quite great. I love John Oliver:

I think this summarizes why I'm conflicted a midst all of the nasty politics of FIFA, but still excited for the sport. How do I sort the two?

It was interesting (if kind of dull) till the second part where it got interesting and funny :D.

Maybe some countries need to split and form a new rival organization?

Specially European countries have the moral responsibility to stop supporting this organization.

John Oliver's video was quite good, but it only touched the surface of why the World Cup in Brazil has been a disaster.

250,000 people have been evicted from their houses. That trumps all concerns about beer in stadiums.

Best thing I've seen on the internet lately (follow the link for far more hilarity)

"What it would be like if England WON the world cup!"

Lol that's the best thing I've read in a long time. Wouldn't be far off of the truth either. This country stops during World Cups, and having been in Spain when they won the last World Cup, there would be drunken people EVERYWHERE.

Wow. How can they print that?

It did open my eyes to American perception of "Europeans", assuming you can lump us all together. The stereotyping of all football fans being violent drunkards seemed unnecessary, but spending so much time debating whether the players play on a pitch or a field?? Really?
