They've released a new trailer at TGS. I'd copy a link but it is a pain to copy and paste on a mobile device.

The games look pretty good and were definitely in need of graphical updates. I tried to play X a while back but even with component cables the game looked dated and the models were jaggy.

Isn't that how practically every game from that time frame looks on a modern HDTV?

Some games look fine; others not so much. I think FF XII looks fine on a hi def tv.

Hm, I think they all look pretty rough myself. I usually use emulators to play my older standard definition games.

FFX is probably my favorite game of all time (Don't judge). I've played through it multiple times and beyond excited to play it again with the HD remake. Never got through x-2 though for obvious reasons. Shouldn't have gotten my hopes up there.

After seeing some new screens it looks like they've gone in and touched up a lot of the models and such. Touching up 3D models and redoing textures is pretty standard for this sort of upgrade, but it looks like with FFX at least (dunno about X-2) they're going a notch above.

Pretty excited.

Same.

March better be the last time it's pushed back though.

But yeah this is looking more like the Wind Waker treatment or something.

Cover art is on Amazon now. It's, uh, interesting.

This is really only $40? I'm down.

That almost looks weirdly fake...

But yeah, never even tried FFX-2 myself. Looks fun though, is the story worth anything? lol
