Ordered a copy today. Should be here Tuesday.

Demo was a lot of fun, if quite hard. So I'm quite excited.

Have you played "Megpoid the Music#?" It seems the songs are shortened, but I'm kind of interested. Seems like it will be hard to find later on.

Haven't played it but watched gameplay videos back when it came out. Didn't look very good. Much like the original Project DIVA isn't that great. Maybe if they make more it'll become a decent series.

My game arrived today and it put a huge stupid grin on my face. A game hasn't made me so happy in years, and I haven't even played it yet!

I tried this out at the PAX demo booth and then ordered a copy off Amazon.

Glad you guys are liking it. Or thinking you're going to like it. Next thing you know you'll have a $400+ dollar Project DIVA F arcade controller, like myself.

I went to Wal-Mart and tried the demo there and it proceeded to thoroughly kick my a$$. I went in totally blind, thinking the 'notes' were going to stay in one spot, only to have my eyes suffer a seizure when stuff started coming in at all different angles.

At the end, I recieved the head-shake of shame :( (Realizing half way through that I needed to hold the button down on certain notes didn't help.)

Cute game though.

Wait, they had this game at Wal-Mart? That's amazing! It's not on store shelves anywhere in my area. If it's actually on the shelf, people might make impusle buys. I'm just surprised a big retailer thought it was worth the shelf space. Or was it just the demo and no games on the shelves.

ZenErik, I've got a favor to ask. I heard a few people say the difficulty in Extreme mode is toned down from the Japanese version. That sounds like trolling to me, but it would be easy for you to confirm that. What do you think?

I haven't played my US version at all. There's no reason for them to dumb it down because its an easy game to begin with. This isn't Beatmania. Only 2 songs are a legitimate challenge on extreme.

And I don't mean that in a bad way. It is my favorite rhythm game because it's so accessible. And because of all the fan created stages. That is where things can get very tricky.
