So it just ends? I loaded out and figured I'd have to get to the Tower of London. I mean I didn't even fight the final horde I just ran past them. Is there a bad ending and a good one? All I got was the one with the Prepper getting another person. Wait...so there is more from the ending credits....hmm
After the credits is the "point of no return". If you die at that point until the end you will get the bad ending. Also if you don't have the USB Key you can't get the very good ending. You can no longer use shortcuts because the Prepper shut you out. But you find out he's sort of a jerk, and was just using you.
Alright so I escaped, not much to report after that. The last battle wasn't too bad but did drain my ammo. Not a bad ending but not a good one either. I guess since I had the USB key escaping was the very good ending?
Anyone check out those leader boards? Holy hell some people played the game for 30 hours and just kicked butt. I had a feeling I rushed too much, only took me 13.
Escaping with the USB Key is the very good ending. Escaping without it is the good ending, dying is the bad ending. The difference between the endings is not great from what I understand. I couldn't actually see a difference between grabbing the USB Key and not. I just read there was a difference on the internet, but none of the YouTube videos seemed to account for it. I also don't understand how somebody could miss it.
On my way to the tower of London, I didnt realize it really wanted me to hurry to the chopper, so I was killing Zombies like normal and all of a sudden I got a cutscene showing the chopper taking off without me. After watching the scene with the prepper just getting another survivor, I went to youtube to see the other ending. When I watched it,, it showed the exact same scene of the chopper taking off, the only difference was that the person playing made it to the landing pad.
I didn't hurry either. I was sniping zombies to take care of them from afar and I tried to snipe a riot cop. It set off him and a few other and they milled around the ladder of the second pier. I thought I had distracted them and went down and was taking care of two of them but I was standing in the water and one under the water got me. It showed the chopper leave without me at that point.
I don't remember any credits but I just must not have paid much attention because I didn't turn it off until it went to the screen where you select your data.
