Because you have to wait an entire season to watch current episodes. You can't watch the newest episodes of stuff online. And YouTube and torrents in particular usually have some crappy video quality on some of that stuff.

I love my cable and DVR. I always have something on my box waiting for me to watch.

thats why i said various torrent sites, within an hour people had put up the newest breaking bad episodes and in HD

I shall not mourn the passing of G4.

TechTV I mourn to this day, but I stopped caring about G4 quite a while ago.

Agreed. But at least they had X-Play. Now there's nothing on T.V. that does video game reviews. That is unless that terrible Spike TV show is still on. Damn was that a boring show.

I miss the T.V. show Icons more than anything. I learned so much watching that show, and it was easily the best show on Tech T.V./G4. Hell, it's the best video game T.V. show ever produced, IMO.

Esquire could be a good home to the shows we loved. Lets lose the cops and heroes re-runs and get some new programing! This maxim magazine tv plus tech and xplay. Bring Morgan Webb back!

I still remember the first time I saw Tech TV, it was an episode of the Screen Savers and was like 2 hours long, I thought I had died and gone to heaven, then a month later it was G4........ sad day.

with all the random ass shows on cable and satellite it boggles my mind that they cant have one devoted to video games, seriously they have channels devoted to green living (Al Gores channel) and a channel devoted to farming and horses. Is there seriously a bigger demographic to those shows than to people who play video games? The type of person who would watch those channels probably doesn't own a television let alone watch it.
