Heh, you are correct there. I am hypoglycemic. However, if I were not addicted to it I would not weigh 208 pounds. I only need a couple of teaspoons a day in addition to my food to keep going.

I'm not supposed to consume a lot of carbonated drinks because apparently it impairs running endurance. Or so says my mom, who used to run cross-country. Seltzer water is flavorless, so when I do have a soda it's usually a normal diet one.

The "soda is bad for runners" thing has been around for ages.

I've never seen I study done on the subject, so I highly doubt the claim.
Since this signature affects old posts, I'm leaving a message here in case anyone searches for my username. This account died in early 2013. I am no longer a fundamentalist.
