Got to stage 4 at 1,244,100 with Miyamoto (SATURN). A rather low score for that far apparently. How did you guys get such a high score?

Bomb the trees on stage 2 to release flamingos, bomb flamingos for points.

And medal chaining.

Made a few changes today.

Tried out Golden Bat some more, I score more with him - but he doesn't have as much power on bosses. Love his speed - makes chaining so much easier, but I die on 2nd boss at least once w/him.

Replaced RAP stick w/pad. The SAT pad is so good, I don't think there's another pad that can outperform a decent stick.

Changed TV pic to standard from Theater Wide-3. I like a big screen, but putting it to standard sharpens everything up a bit more, and there is so much going on, that was needed.

Still dying out on 3rd boss though :/

I've noticed that if you turn Red Ball on, your score no longer falls under Arcade Mode in the rankings, but will be denoted as ED for edit mode. I personally play without it, since I didn't have any trouble seeing enemy fire, plus I think the bullets look cooler.

Yeah, you can turn the 4 extra ships on from the Menu, first trick is to get the menu in english (which is one of the options).

This game gets so crazy the better you do.
