Fine, I have no arms! Take that. If that is all its used for, thats fine, I was just hoping it wouldnt be waggle to attack or aim - ala Alien Syndrome. I am cross now. As much as I want it for my Wii, Id love to use an arcade stick for it. Ill probably buy the Wii version now and the 360 version when they start clearing it.

There are a few sequences where you must aim the remote at the screen to shoot while sitting in a cannon. I also just remembered that you occasionally get an enemy that clings to you and you must shake them off.

Does the PS3 version use any form of motion? I'm not hip to that new-fangled six axis technobabble.

So my understanding that stores will get another shipment of Skylanders in the next couple of weeks. I guess this is known as "wave 3". Are these the same figures that were released or are there new ones?

With the PS3, I got a poster that shows all of the figures and their different classes. Does the poster show all of the Skylanders that will be released or are there some out there that are not on the poster?

Personally, I don't need to collect each and every one. I just want one of each class for my daughter.

There are 32 Skylanders and all are shown on the poster. 23 of them are currently available. This next batch is only confirmed to have two new individuals (Double Trouble, Cynder) and one adventure pack (Empire of Ice).

I bought the Wii base game last night and searched for any Character packs, but there were 0 for sale in the several stores I went to on the way home. After only playing it for a few minutes I realized that you were 100% right Zing, this is just a kiddy friendly hack and slash. I am so in.

One more question, is it possible to get Dark Spyro or Ignitor in single character packs, or just with the 3ds version? I have no problem buying the 3ds version right now (which is a different game almost completely ), but would rather buy one of the Adventure or Character packs first.

I did the same last night. The first Target store had none. The second store had none on the shelf but I asked the clerk and he pulled out the last 3 pack that was in some return cart. It made my daughter's night (she got stealth elf, wrecking ball, and sonic boom).

So what is the 3DS game like? I see a lot of people splitting up the 3DS pack and selling the game/portal separately on ebay.

It is apparently an action adventure RPG with platforming elements. There is one major change that I saw, all characters can jump and/or double jump

The 3DS version is essentially an old Spyro game, but with a non-controllable camera. You play through the level and collect gems. From what I understand, the game is few short at five hours. The other versions are 25 hour games.

I grabbed the 3ds version today. It is very different, but still a fun game on its own. I know itll be alot shorter, but it is something I can play on the go and still have some fun.

I really want Zook and Prism Break but they are not for sale here at all.

My youngest daughter has been playing Skylanders for awhile and now the older sibling wants to get in on the action. We have the PS3 and is it simple as creating a new save file for her to use? I thought I read that the Skylanders store data inside the figures. If she uses the same figures, would she affect them or is the info stored in the save file?
