G.Rev Bringing Under Defeat to PS3 and Xbox 360

I don't like this news, at all.

I'm fine with bringing a game to a current gen system - under the premise: (A) The game had potential, but for whatever reason (rushed production, etc) was unable to fulfill its glory or (B) The original system it was released on simply was unable to support it from a console-performance standpoint.

This is not the case with Under Defeat. This is dollar signs and nothing else - sad.

This has "Psycho" (1998) written all over it.

Yeah, of course - ebay's crazy though, $100-120 is a good forum price on it, not the $175+ bs on ebay.

This will most likely drive that price up further - as was the case with RSG, going for around $110-120 pre xbox release, and now its doing $135-175.

I'm not saying the Wii is a 360 for shmups, not by any stretch...but, look what current gen consoles have already done to glorious DC shmups (ultimate shooting collection makes me want to puke). It just makes me sour is all.

yeah USC pisses me off too... because it was only on Wii.

At least Illvelo is the shit. Quickly becoming one of my favorite shmups... And probably the only one I'll ever own for the Wii.

Thats a bit different though as it was never taken to DC from NAOMI, so a current gen release made some sense.

Did Illvelo ever get a North American release? I vaguely remembering it getting canned or something. I would very much like to play it!
