yes, i am a huge fan of the FUN MACHINE.
i'm not going to say what's the best games and worst game for the system since everybody has their own likes and dislikes, but picking up a 64drive (instead of the Everdrive 64) made me love it even more. now i'm trying out all the un-released, prototypes, PAL, Japn and other games too expensive to own available. the 64drive also emulates the NES library which adds more to my N64 usage. nice to see NES games on s-video form. This is indeed a Fun Machine.

Maybe n64 is just one of those consoles you need to have grown up with to appreciate.
Re: Systems you don't like.
Nope. I didn't own a 64 until 4 years or so ago. Goldeneye, Mario Kart, Mario Golf, Rogue Squadron, F-Zero X, Ocarina, Harvest Moon, Robotron 64 are all fantastic games that hold up well whether you're nostalgic or not.

Well there's exceptions to every claim, idk.
I guess I'm just noticing that most of the n64 bashers are ones who checked the system out long after its heyday.

Re: Systems you don't like.
I was around when the N64 first came out, and it was easily the biggest leap in improvement that video games have ever had. The combination of 3D graphics and analog controls was mind blowing. Super Mario 64 was the most impressive game of its time. Not only was it the first major game to do 3D and analog, but it did it extremely well. Right outta the gate, Nintendo set the bar super high. It would take other companies years to even come somewhat close.
The amount of different moves Mario could do was just absurd. You could jump and flip all over the place and it was so fluid and easy to control.
N64 games may look like a shitty 3D mess today, but for their time, they looked fantastic. If you actually take the time to play them, you will see that a lot of them actually still play very well.
Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Wave Race 64, Snobow Kids, Tetrisphere, Goldeneye, Banjo Kazooie, Diddy Kong Racing, Dairantou Smash Brothers, Star Fox 64, Zelda no Densetsu Toki no Ocarina, F-Zero X. All of these games are still excellent today, and are more fun than most modern games imo.

Re: Systems you don't like.
I can't really think of a system that I straight up dislike. I have some weird novelty stuff that doesn't get played much, but even those are welcome additions. My Vectrex stuff is always a hit with family and friends over the holidays. "What does that little TV thing do?"

Anyone who doesn't like the N64 needs to check out Ogre Battle 64. Opinions will change.

I'm an N64 fan and I couldn't get into this. Strange.
