An official one would go against Apple's "we don't make accessories, only sell them" part of their simplistic/streamlined design.

There arent any games that intrest me, touch controls, I dont want to support Apple and I want to play my games on a game console, not on a multitasking media center smart phone that also plays games.
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

Nope. iOs doesnt have any exclusive Sonic games and I dont see why any one would rather play the old ones on an iOs rather than with a Genesis/Mega Drive controller, or any other console controller if played through a compliation disc or an emulator. Monkey ball is kinda meh, but it would be great on an iPad with motion controls, I would play it any day over the Gamecube version. Although WiiU controller is most likely capable of doing the same thing, so that alone isnt be enough to convince me.

Ports of old existing games with motion controls wont make me buy an iOs, good games that were designed specifically for iOs that arent available on any other platform will.

I like games. Whether it's a board, ipod/ipad, psp, xbox, wii, cards, pen/paper, sports, etc. It really doesn't matter as long as it's fun.

One thing I do appreciate about iOS are the games that I can play with my family/friends like Words with Friends, Draw Something, Hanging with Friends. It's kind of cool that my computer-illiterate father who is retired is able to play these games with his children and grandchildren.

At the risk of sounding like an asshole, I have to say that those titles dont exactly sound like the type of games that your average gamer enjoys :P Cant comment on them though as I have never tried any of those

I must say that FPS games do not work at all on iOS using left side for the screen as the left analogue and right side of the screen as the right analogue,
i tried to play Dead Space on iPod touch yesterday, while the game is ok , the controls were meh(I know dead space is not FPS but it works the same way)

Sorry but I don't think you're the average gamer.
You shouldn't knock a game until you have tried it.
