So who can recommend some good J-Pop or J-Rock?

It's so funny you posted that because I was thinking of posting the intro theme to Tales of the Abyss. I never knew about Bump of Chicken though, so thanks for introducing me to them.

Oh man, yeah! Bump of Chicken! I was watching the intro to Tales of the Abyss not that long ago, and wracking my brains trying to think of who it was performing the intro song. I knew it was a band I've heard, but I kept thinking it was Flumpool. Now I can rest easy.

Like Uncolored Velvet (LUV)! That's the band I was looking for. They were only active from 1998 to 2000 and only released 2 singles (4-5 songs) according to some of what I've managed to dig up. Miki Furukawa, the bass player, has remained pretty active in Jpop afterwards, because she kicks ass, but the trio was quite talented on the whole, despite only putting out a few songs.
