Re: Together Retro: Zoop
Gave it another go and I just don't like this game. I'm not having fun playing it.
I'll probably put it in my sale thread later, but if anyone is interested in a complete Genesis copy with a small blemish on the cover for cheap, let me know.

man, and I thought I was going to get some competition for that score. I need incentive to play!
Re: Together Retro: Zoop
PS1: 103500
It is a tricky getting past 100000. I think I'm getting 80000 or more each time, but after that the speed starts to become more than I can comfortably handle. Particularly at that stage, it is fair to say there is a bit of luck involved (in terms of power-ups and randomly getting convenient streaks for the same colour - you can control some of it, at lower speeds I can control most of it actually, but there is still a significant element of luck).

Ivo.

I managed to get a copy of the genesis version today. I'll be working on it.
Edit: Right now I'm sitting at 38,200.

updated.
Hobie, sorry yr not enjoying. It's hard to find a puzzle game spanning so many consoles that isn't something we're all familiar with. I agree that Zoop isn't the greatest puzzler out there, but I don't hate it (so far).
Ivo, woah!

Im still pushing for puzzle league next year, although I suppose thats different entries of the series of the consoles rather than ports. Theres also columns, but meh to that.noiseredux wrote:updated.

Re: Together Retro: Zoop
It would be Panel De Pon instead of Puzzle League - just as a headsup...wink wink nudge nudge say no more.
In all seriousness, suggestion noted and unless noise or racket have an objection it will probably be the choice. Ive only given it a cursory few plays, I have never dedicated a significant amount of time to it.
