Hmm, I wasn't referring to the list going on in this thread really. I didn't even look through it (until now) when I posted. Actually Monster World is on the list too. It got an SMS version in Europe. It's the only one of the series on both consoles though. I hear the ports are slightly different, but I haven't played them both to find out.
It's also worth noting that a lot of these games that are on Mega Drive too aren't just inferior ports - they're often different games. That's true of Castle of Illusion, Sonic the Hedgehog and Ghouls n Ghosts for a start. In fact, I prefer the SMS Castle of Illusion and although I like Mega Drive Sonic 1 more, Master System Sonic 1 is up there with my all time best sonic games.
