We played 13 matches of Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD with me as Ken (the character I use like 99% of my playtime) and her as Chun Li and the majority of the matches were pretty close. She ended up winning four of them.

She's also pretty solid with Ibuki on Super Street Fighter IV.

Maybe I'm just a good teacher?
My wife just finished schooling me in Dr. Mario, something she does regularly. This time she did it in front of her parents. We played the Wii version tonight, but the coolest thing? She prefers the NES original, where she can dominate me even more.

Oh bloody Hell, I suppose that was only a matter of time. So before anybody else says it, I'll get this out of the way.

Hello Ms. Boss. Isn't Ballz 3D the greatest video game ever?

Sarah wipes the floor with me on Tetris Attack.
I might have to pull out Puyo Puyo Fever to see if I can return the favor...

I think that's definitely a girl thing. I had to work damn hard to beat my ex-fiancée at Puyo Puyo. She fucking schooled me every single time at Tetris Attack though. I just can't wrap my head around it. I think women's brains are just wired up better for that kind of multi-tasking. Like they're already setting up combos way in advance whilst managing their current task. The only reason I could beat her in puyo was because my reaction/input speed was much faster due to my more learned dexterity. She used to do some fucking insane combos.

Get her playing some Super Puzzle Fighter, that was also a favourite of me and my ex's.

The secret to tetris attack is a controller with turbo settings. Then just randomly move the cursor around. I beat the entire game in about 7 minutes like that.
