btw, I'm really glad that a few of you are getting so into this game. It's that kind of thing that makes TR fun. Cuz now I just wanna keep playing Tempest to get my high score up. The competition is fun... sometimes we do games and it feels like nobody else is playing. So this is awesome!

so I just tested something -- apparently you can use a steering wheel on Tempest in lieu of a rotary. I just used my GCN wheel thru the GBPlayer and it worked better than I thought. Though tough to get used to now that I've been using a control pad for the past weeks.

I honestly think that "Avoid the spikes" is the hardest thing about this game.
