As for On Fire edition. it is a stand alone PSN/XBLA release now. there were too many changes to be just an add-on.
Ah, ok. If they made On Fire a disc-release, I'd wait and buy that. But most likely I'll just buy the standard disc.

...although On Fire is considerably cheaper. Grrrr. Decisions!

NBA JAM: On Fire Edition will be $15 on XBLA and PSN this fall and we couldn’t be happier about it.
NBA Jam: Hyped as a Wii exclusive. Now the Wii isn't even getting its upgrade.

well once the on fire edition is release this October, i'm sure the standard NBA Jam price will go down.

noise, you know i'm an NBA video game collector so it's going to go with the rest of my pile
Awesome - what are some of the favorites from your collection? I collect NBA games as well (well, and all basketball games). I'd love to find Lakers vs. Celtics for the PC. I have fond memories of that old MS DOS game when it first came out.

Sorry for the confusion guys with the PSN ID thread. I *did* note NBA Jam in there, alluding to the On Fire edition soon to come out (i have the 360 vers). Love that they are bringing back tag mode. Great price point too.

Nice - NBA Live '96 for the PC. PC was my medium of choice for NBA Live games in the mid 90s ('95 was just amazingly better than console versions - I still have it) mainly because of the NBA Live Series Center website and the ability to download updated rosters. That was some serious shit in 1995 :D

You need to check out Super Tecmo NBA Basketball for the SNES. Better than the Genesis version because the roster is a year older and has the last sightings of Jordan, Bird, and Barkley (for some amount of time at least) before a bunch of guys either retired or they pulled their likeness out of the games.

awesome! i also prefer the PC versions mainly because of modding. i want to see your collections as well. :)

i actually have that game and a modded rom version of it with the 2003 roster. better than the Bulls vs series IMO. 8)

I'm working on staging this - couple different themes, all around having a NBA license (so no Pat Riley Basketball or Jammit). Going to be fun 8)
