its extremely nostalgic to me, I highly refer the long box version games, but are they sought after? or are they the cheaper version to buy?

Some games only came in long boxes. A few came in both, but sometimes the re-release is a GH. Loaded for instance was a cardboard longbox, then a GH normal case.
