Animazement was great, easily one of the best gaming rooms in a con on the east coast. I played more than my share of Metal Slug and Ice Climbers. The Wedoca crew just makes it happen.

The only thing I came home with from the con proper was a Wii Arcade stick per Modman. I did stop at onemanfilmscrew Goodwill Computer Works. Dear me that is awesome. I ended up with a half a dozen SNES games, half a dozen NES games, two N64 games, and a Virtual Boy. Out of all of them, Asteroids Hyper 64 and a sealed copy of Wisdom Trees King of Kings on the NES are the biggest finds.

The best story from it I can say is that on the way there I bought a TI99/4a in the box at Goodwill. I used it as a display at the convention and this guy comes up to me and asks questions about it. Turns out he was part of the team that wrote the basic interpreter for it. Somebody offered to buy it off of me for the price I paid for it so I let it go. But I though it was awesome that out of the blue he happened to be there.

Nice overview of the 5000+ sq/f.

Good to see old faces and new. Shouts to Fast for the GC pacman setup. Next year will be bigger!

Anybody going to DragonCon? I'll be there with my girl but I'm a little worried, I don't know much about it. Does it have much of a gaming section?

All i know is its HUUUUUUGE!!!

Ive got some people where i work that are going, and its basicly part Adult Swim convention so i know Hammer and Publick from The Venture Bros are going to be talking about the second part of season 4.

I need to get a list of cons online, i do wanna check out Momocon (due to me getting a dollar tshirt when i was with Mod from i guess fastbilly if i remember) so that and I do wanna go with some friends to the GDC next spring as well as next years Animazement.
