Luke, so is there no rap artist/group that interest you in the last couple years in the genre? Also, have you managed to watch
Beats, Rhymes & Life: The Travels of a Tribe Called Quest (Heres a
trailer). Also, since were on somewhat the subject of The Carter IV heres some information about it.

Unfortunately, it seems like the vast majority of rap music isn't like this. It can hardly be considered music since it hardly has any music in it. Also, it's usually about big asses or some stupid bullshit.
Generally speaking, rap music is garbage but there are some exceptions.

I've decided to stay out of this topic. I find there's a bit too much close-mindedness when it comes to music on this board. So I'm just going to avoid discussing music at all on here.
There's just certain stereotyping and non-sensical statements that get made by other posters that is certainly close-mindedness that makes me not want to even bother having a serious discussion about music as an artform.
I agree that strangefamous puts out some very good and interesting stuff. I have pretty much everything Sage has ever done myself. And I don't really care if you like or dislike something. But comments such as the one I pointed out just make me feel like we're arguing at a junior high lunch table, which I have no interest in.
Like I said before. it's best I stay out of these jr high lunch tables.
But you didn't and you're here to discuss again. Yay!

Rap is such a degenerate form of music, and while we may be spared the vomit-like cacophony that is the music of "lil wheezie", we will undoubtedly still suffer from the music of all the other rappers.

Thank god we still have dave matthews and jimmy buffet keeping it realer than real.

Actually once in a while I'll hear a 'rap' song I like, but it's usually because it's less like rap and more like some other genre. Like this
