Not true, actually. I have owned an independent catering company for almost a decade. I usually cook seven days a week, so what I eat is very important to me. My wife is not a good cook. She's coming along, but I've been cooking at least 5 nights a week for almost 15 years. I hate doing the dishes though. So, we compliment each other, I cook, she does the dishes. It's win win. No compromising, just complimenting.

I'm also a sports nut. I start my day at 6am with sportscenter, check espn.com frequently during the work day, and at 5pm, it's Around the horn, then PTI. If my wife is watching something I don't want to, I simply just go to my man cave and watch what I would like. It's not really a compromise. If she doesn't want to watch the game, she goes in the living room. There's no pressure on either one of us to watch the same shows at the same time. It's part of the reason we own 5 televisions.

You compromise when you date the wrong person.

that's what happens when grown people disagree. they have already their thoughts on life, and there's no way you can change them, unless it's something really strong (like your wife and son leaving you, but I guess some people don't even understand that).

you can only reason with a child imo. there's no point in arguing with an adult, but it's still fun to see who can shout his opinion the loudest :P

I'm not arguing with Izzy, I'm just trying to give him some optimism that there just might be someone out there for him that won't make him compromise for the rest of his life.
My opinions have never been set in stone, except for one: Ninja Gaiden is an awesome game.

That sounds pretty good to me. She still looks good and gives you all the sex you want? If so, my hat is off to you.

So what we all learned here is that two tvs in the same room is the answer to most of life's problems.

Yes. I'm a happy man.

Oh, and fast, the TV's are in different rooms, sorry if I worded that wrong.
