If there were two movies I could be dragged out to see in theaters this year though, it'd be Batman 3 and The Avengers. Hopefully, a lot of people have gone out to see Cabin in the Woods though. I'd like that movie to be successful.
Last movie I remember seeing in theaters was Alien³. Think it's time to go see another one now...

Shit, Alien³ is from "92...

That means I haven't been to theaters in 20 years...

What's really sad is you wasted your last experience on Alien 3.

I honestly enjoyed the film in it's entirety.

Just realized it was Alien: Resurrection, not Alien³.

So it's only been 15 years since my last theatre visit...

It helped having a friend with a projector and a huge ass wall... 8)

So did I. While it was not as good as Aliens, it was still a good Alien movie. Yet I see it get crap online all the time.

You guys made me sputter food with those posts. :x

Still, that's a long time not to see a new movie. The longest I ever went without going to the theater was from December 2004 (The Spongebob Movie) to May 2008 (Indiana Jones 4).

I didn't like Alien 3 much at all when I first saw it.

Then I saw Resurrection. My feeling then was "oh my god at least 3 wasn't this bad."
