My copy of Metroid arrives tomorrow; so, I am playing a few short games while I wait for it to arrive in the mail.

The first is Rez HD. It's still brilliant and looks even better than the original. I will probably finish it up tonight.

I am also playing Device 6. It is a fantastic iOS game, perfectly suited for the platform and unlike any other game. It is also likely that I will defeat it tonight or tomorrow.

I'm up to chapter 6 in Yakuza 0 and can see how strangenova and others are sinking tons of time into this one. The Business Mode opened up for Kiryu and I'm loving it.

This was one of my favorite things about the PS2 GTA games or Saints Row 1-2. Property management simulator!

I lost one of the places already, so I had to buy it back. But I got a level 4 security guy and realized how to actually assign new staff. Any other tips? Also used some CP points to level up how fast the payout hits. I was wondering how you get so much money for the later ability upgrades, but I imagine this and Majima's side businesses is how to reel in tons of cash.

Yeah the business modes are where the money is at in the game. For Kiryu's business, always make sure to have a healthy security guard and manager assigned to the area you are collecting from, I didnt have to spend too much money on money battles due to always having a good manager. When you own an area free and clear of the billionaire, security becomes unnecessary but a low level manager still helps with profits. Winning the minigames isn't necessary but it sure does help take over the area faster.

Okay, so there's an old Dezolian killing my other party members with the power of puns in Phantasy Star IV, and also there are giant penguins--objectively the best game ever.

Good stuff. And yeah I saw the rock-paper-scissors thing you or someone else mentioned, I don't think I'll bother with that much at all haha.

Nearing the 40 hour mark in Yakuza 0 at chapter 7 of 17. Yeah this game is insane.

It's practically two games in one, or even four if you want to split off the business modes which I'm sinking tons of time into. For comparison sake I beat both Yakuza 3 and 4 each a little over 20 hours. Zero is a monster.

I'm sure once I polish off the businesses though, the back half will be a breeze. If you just stick to the main story you can breeze through these games easily. But I'm loving absolutely everything about it. It felt like the prefect follow up after Mega Man Legends 1-2 as well, I'd say there's a lot of similarities actually. A cool little hub world with so much depth to it and a huge variety of gameplay. Not even sure what genre you'd slot these kinds of games into. The Amazing genre.

I'm glad youre sinking some time into this one. I thought I'd cruise the last of the game after I finished the business modes too, but alas I got sucked into the vortex of the side stories and friendships.

Hard to resist Mr Libido...

I'm going to try and knock out Majima's business tonight. Kiryu's probably takes longer though since you kind of have to let it idle more. But he does have the bigger area and some more stuff to do in between.

Since you haven't played the others, I can say the leveling up and styles systems to this one are my favorite so far. However I think because you get so many different fighting styles, it's maybe diminished some of the weirder special attacks or Heat moves. I feel like there was more Heat moves in Yakuza 3 and 4. Not a huge deal though, it always feels amazing destroying people no matter what haha.
