Anyways, this is how harper's exchange sounded to me from how she explained it.

Harper's gf: I'm going to get my hair dyed tomorrow.

Harper: Fucking great! Leave the house like you always fucking do!

gf: Christ, I won't go if you don't want me to, I just want some time with my family.

Harper: You do whatever the fuck you want, I'm going to sleep.

Sunset, sunrise.

Harper: The fuck are you doing?

gf: getting my hair dyed. You flipped a bit last night.

Harper: Oh Great, fucking great. You're never in the fucking house.

gf: Isn't it obvious why? *slams door*

Yup. I wasn't there, but from what Harper posted she was the one that seemed upset and throwing around curse words. Not that she doesn't have the right to be upset.

Either way I hope things work out for the best for her.

Smile: I was up until around 5am with friends this night (no, no coke involved) just goofing around.

Frown: Woke up at 9am to mow the yard.

Smile: I've been pretty lazy most of the week, so a good work out was due.

That's very heartwarming coming from you, especially after you just assumed that the reason she's never around is because I'm an asshole. Like I said last night, I can see how it would come off that way from that conversation alone (which was not verbatim by the way, keep in mind I was a little pissed off at the time of typing it) but I'm not like that all the time. It's hard for me to just say "Gee honey, it'd be nice if you'd stay home with me tonight but that's fine, go do whatever you want and I'll be here patiently waiting for you like I always am" when I'm upset/pissed off.

By the way I was not looking for advice as much as I was just venting, that's what this thread is for after all, correct? However, I do appreciate the kind words from cookie monster and michi.

Anyway, she's a lot more outgoing than I am, she likes to go places, do stuff, talk to people, that sort of thing. I'm the kind of person who would rather just stay at home. I understand that's not what she wants to do all the time. I don't tell her that she can't see or spend time with her family or friends. She often goes to her parent's house on her days off and/or after work, that's fine, I just wish she'd spend more of her off time with me. I also don't exactly condone her going out and getting matching tattoos with her "bestie" or getting her nipples pierced "just 'cause" but she's going to do what she's going to do. I pretty much figured shit like this would happen eventually, we've been together for almost 5 years and she's a little younger than me, so at some point or another I expected her to feel like she wanted more "freedom". That's pretty much the extent of the issues (from what I can see).

We can be done with this now.

I feel kinda sick today. Played some Nibbler on MAME earlier. Thinking I might play TF2 or something. Dunno.

Pic unrelated.

Smile: finally, FINALLY upgraded my god awful camera. Ended up picking up a rather nice one used online. It's pretty fantastic honestly, at least for what I intend to use it for.

Guess I have a game room thread coming in a few days. Gotta clean this place up!

Work that macro function and if necessary, use a broom or chair as a monopod to steady yourself.

I'll keep it in mind!

I'm gonna wait until all the stuff I've ordered comes in the mail and get everything cleaned up and organized.

Smile: Washed the car. Pre-ordered the Wii U, went and looked at plasma TVs

Frown: Forgot to preorder a game with my Wii U. Might go back tomorrow to do that. Still wasn't super impressed with the new plasma TVs. I might just stick with my HDCRT, even if it's a bit small. Besides, I probably won't need a 55" TV in whatever apartment or dorm I end up in next year.

Plus, it's payed for already, which is always good.
