just tracking 970's has been weirdly fun. You can seriously watch them go in and of stock within hours. It's kind of crazy.

Are they at a very desirable price point or something? I've been kinda out of the video card market for a bit as I can't afford to build a new PC for several more months.

right. They're basically the same price as much lesser cards. I feel like Nvidia changed the game releasing this thing. I mean, the October issue of PCGamer mag lists the 770 in their build... probably because it went to press right at the 970 came out. PCGamer's website reviewed the 970 calling it the best card in the price range this month.

Noise I still don't understand why you are so hell bent on getting one now. Well I understand the whole I want it now thing but I think you should just hold off on it and wait until they aren't selling it in a matter of minutes dude. I'm sure that won't be more than a week or two. I would also guess that Nvidia is waiting for that to happen to add a game in with the cards as well.

In short I think you should keep it in your pants, your money I mean.

Besides…are you running into problems running stuff at max res with your current card? If not, wait until you are...

I've just been researching the diff models. Part of it is i would like to get a Shield soonish as well. But i was thinking i would wait for nvidia's holiday bundles in a week or two anyway. Just window shopping now.

Dude couldn't you just order a card that is giving out a code, use the code, return the card and then get a 970 later?

And don't give me the that's dishonest crap. Next you're going to tell me that using multiple email addresses to $10 from red bull is dishonest too? Or using multiple email addresses to get multiple 30 day trials of newegg premier so I can return things free is dishonest too?

Yea I know what you mean I'm to lazy to actually do any of those things myself. You don't have a microcenter near you do you? Their employees are known for handing out codes to almost anyone that asks, I remember ZenErik got both the Nvidia and the AMD promotional games when he got his card.
