So what have you guys been watching lately?

Monk. I love detective shows/movies/radio shows, and this show is right up my alley. Smart, funny, quirky, and most of all it is entertaining and always delivers a great story.

Doesn't hurt that Monk's partner is a sexy little number.
Which partner? He gets a different one about halfway through the show's run. But I agree, Monk was great. The episode with the bums was my favorite.

Yeesh, how could Sharona have even crossed your mind!

We just finished Parks n' Rec season 4 (just added to Netflix) and it was almost as funny as season 3, but season 3 was borderline epic. Series still has a lot of steam, should be able to go another 2 years or so w/o having to do major shakeups (ie, new cast members, etc).

Prior to that, we watched "Hell on Wheels", has a bit of a Sons of Anarchy feel, but is set in the late 1860's. Excellent protagonist and done extremely well (sets, wardrobe, historicall accurate). Excited for season 2.

We started a discovery channel show a couple nights ago, "Out of the Wilderness: Venezuela" or something like that. Basically it is survivor without voting and without a prize. Had they done more character developement (ie, interviews, or showing them in their real lives, etc) it would have been easier to get into. The first episode it was just tough to be invested in any of the people, but mid-way through episode 2 you start to like certain people, etc. We are on episode 5 now and really enjoying it. Only 8 episodes start to finish, so may be worth your time (6 hours total) for the scenery and nature alone. These people are literally starving, I won't spoil, but it has been surprising to see how many people are leaving the show (again, w/o voting...on their own accord).

That's an extremely good point ... thanks for ruining that for me Dave's wife.

Is this like a thing you do now where you make obvious mistakes?

Could the government snatched up all the weapons they could? I dunno.
I have been watching Gravity Falls lately (the one show I make sure not to miss) and its pretty good cartoon so far. Wonder what weird ass ideas the creators can come up with

Even in the 90's, a cab ride from West Philly to Bel-Air must have been expensive as all get out.

What the hell?

Deedlit's English voice there is extremely familiar and I can't put my finger on who it is. I want to say it's the same actress who did Lina Inverse but I'm honestly not sure...

EDIT: Well apparently Lisa Ortiz voices Deedlit anyway, so maybe it just has the normal RoLW cast and I just didn't remember it.

Why?! Record of Lodoss is awesome the way it is! I don't need a cutey-cized version.
